Dendritic Agate 'Sun' Necklace

One of a kind piece, entirely handcrafted from sterling silver, featuring a natural dendritic agate stone. The open back style of pendant allows for light to enter and show off the natural inner inclusions of the stone.

The designs in this stone are formed by mineral deposits that have made their way into the stone through small cracks and fissures during the agate's formation. Read more about dendritic agate here.

When held to the light, a small healed fracture can be seen inside the stone, which likely was what allowed for the formation of the dendrites. This fracture is inside the stone, cannot be felt from the outside and does not affect its stability.
